Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home 1106 Hwy. 33 South New Tazewell, TN 37825 (423) 626 - 2191 Fax (423) 626 - 8440 Mr. Agbert Johnson "Jack" Chadwell age 88 of Tazewell, TN was born January 2, 1928 and passed away peacefully at his home September 30, 2016. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Jack was employed by the State of Tennessee Highway Department for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Andy and Mellie Brooks Chadwell Wife: Ola Loveday Chadwell He is survived by his: Sons: Dennis (Michele) Chadwell of Belle Vernon, PA John Chadwell of Tazewell, TN Daughter: Pat (Bill) Reed of Savoy, IL 6 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren Sister: Christine Vensel Green Valley, AZ Special Cousin: Maynard (Sue) Brooks A host of other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the "Angel Caregivers" Ramona and Jessie for all of their kind loving care. There will be a gathering of family and friends Monday, October 3, 2016 from 10AM until 11AM with funeral services to follow at 11AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Overholt officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery on Hopewell Road. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tazewell Senior Citizens Center P.O. Box 326 Tazewell, TN 37879. Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
