Agnes Manning

Mrs. Agnes B. Manning age 91 of Tazewell, TN was born June 25, 1920 and passed away May 25, 2012. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for over 70 years. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Carson Manning: parents, Mamie Lee Carmack and Roscoe Maynard Brooks; granddaughter, Valerie Manning; three brothers and three sisters. Survivors of Mrs. Manning are her three children: Boyd Manning and wife Bonnie of Tazewell, TN, Sharon Chadwell and husband Charlie of Knoxville, TN and Debra Hooper and husband Jim of Mt. Juliet, TN; six grandchildren, Dwayne Manning (Kim), Stephanie Manning Halverson (Randy), Robert Charles Hooper; nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Bill Brooks and John Brooks, sisters, Marie Brooks, Eula Franklin, Marilyn Rotramel and Elaine Hinkley. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Travis Pressnell officiating.
