Mrs. Betty Jean Scott Estep age 82 of New Tazewell, TN was born May 26, 1931 and passed away January 1, 2014 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: McKennley Scott and Mary Reynolds Sisters: Lillie Scott and Treva Scott She was survived by her: Son: Ronnie Estep and wife Kathy of New Tazewell, TN Grandsons: Mark England Estep of New Tazewell, TN James Daniel (Danny) Parker of Maynardville, TN Dennis Samuel (Sammy) Parker of Maynardville, TN Great Grandchildren: Hadley Nevaeh Parker and Jadyn Christine Faye Parker both of Corryton, TN. Mackenzie Cheatham of Georgia Katlyin White of Knoxville, TN Logan White of Knoxville, TN Brody and Blake Seals of Tazewell, TN Kay Patterson and Taylor Bryant Bryan Seals and wife Wilette of New Tazewell, TN, Joshua Seals and fiancée Samatha Killion of Tazewell, TN who she raised as her grandsons. Brothers: Alvin Scott and Bernard Scott Sister: Inez Garrett Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10AM till 11AM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home with graveside services to follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
