Dalton age 86 of Thorn Hill, TN was born August 1, 1930 and passed away December 10, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Jimmy and Vena McDaniel Husband: Rev. Lester Dalton Son: Rev. Lloyd Dalton Brother: Leon McDaniel Grandson: Eugene Dalton Great Grandson: Evan Dalton She is survived by her: Children: Jay Dalton and wife Letha Sharon Haynes and husband Wayne Brenda Dalton (made her home with her mother) Danny Dalton Daughter-in-Law: Wanda Dalton Grandchildren: Amanda Collins (Shane), Pam Dalton, Jeremy Dalton, Josh Haynes (Brooke), Lindsay Dalton (Jody), Ashton Dalton, and Jade Dalton Great Grandchildren: Austin, Levi, Kanyon, Aeveam, Devan, Ava, Shaelynn, Briley, and Riley 1 Brother 3 Sisters A host of other loving relatives and friends. The family wants to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff of Smokey Mountain Home Health & Hospice for all of their loving care. The family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2016 from 6PM until 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11AM at Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Wilmoth, the Rev. Stevie Johnson and the Rev. Larry McAnally officiating. Music will be provided by Brenda Bolden. Burial will follow in the McGinnis Cemetery.
