Mr. Billy Jennings age 83, of Tazewell, TN was born July 1, 1928 and passed away peacefully April 2, 2012 in the Claiborne County Nursing Home following a long illness. Billy was a member of the Raven Hill Baptist Church. He was retired from the Freels Drug Store in Morristown, TN. Billy was an avid farmer and also served his Country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his: Parents: Cleve and Minnie Jennings Brothers: Steward Jennings, Clyde Reynolds Sisters: Vada Lephew, Cleo Hurst, Edith Miles, and Irene Davidson He is survived by his: Loving wife of 31 years: Virginia Jennings of Tazewell, TN. Son: Bob and wife Ann Rhea Daughters: Julie and husband Nick Bell Pam and husband Jim Hill Special Niece and Nephew: Patsy and husband Sam Mast. Bill helped to raise Patsy. Grandchildren: Amie and husband Brad Blanchard Jon Rhea and Brad Hill Great-Grandchildren: Collin Blanchard, Greyson Blanchard, and Brody Hill Several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 3, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. With Reverend Jerry Epperson and Reverend Clifton Wilmoth officiating. Music will be provided by Jerry and Carolyn Epperson and Brenda Bolden. Burial to follow in the Irish Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Charles Roberts, Jason Roberts, T.J. Sewell, Brad Blanchard, Collin Blanchard, and Jon Rhea. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter, 674 Lewis-Ritchie Drive New Tazewell, TN. 37825 Claiborne ?
