Billy Gean Johnson

Mr. Billy Gean Johnson age 86 of New Tazewell, TN was born June 12, 1935, and passed away February 24, 2022, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He retired as a truck driver, a job that he enjoyed very much.  Billy was saved at an early age in life. 

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Billy Gean and Lizzie Johnson,

Daughter: Tammy Johnson

Son:  Terry Lee Johnson

Brother:  Jimmy Johnson and Sister: Mary Whitehead

He is survived by his:  

Wife: Ruby Johnson

Children:Elvin Johnson and wife Sue,

Teresa Johnson and Billy Johnson II.

Grandchildren:  Joshua Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Adam Johnson,

Crystal Johnson, Craig Johnson, Alex Johnson, Stephanie Johnson, Debbie, Denice, Valerie, Wendy, T.J., Michael, and Madison.

Several nieces and nephews and a host of many relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday February 28, 2022, from 5PM until 7PM with a celebration of life to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne~Overholt Funeral Home Chapel.  Memories will be shared by family and friends.
