He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Boyd retired from Clayton Homes as a foreman. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Aravelee & Bessie Sweet Brother: Jack Sweet Sister: Elizabeth Rowe Infant Sister: Molly Sweet He is survived by his: Son: Justin Sweet Daughter: Brenda Sweet Sisters: Betty Robinson and husband Hollis Doris Cupp and husband Harold Della Patterson and husband Den Special nieces and nephews: Joe Bell, Josh Bell, Taylor Bell, Wilma Jennings, Billie Caylor, Freddie Cupp, Jonathan Cupp and Richard Allen Special Friends: Beazer Watson, David Cole, David Dunn and Lucille Rosenbalm Several other nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6PM till 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11AM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Poore officiating. Burial will follow in the Burch Cemetery.
