Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home 1106 Hwy. 33 South New Tazewell, TN 37825 (423) 626 - 2191 Fax (423) 626 - 8440 Mrs. Chelsie Hazel Janeway age 106 was born July 10, 1910 and went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2016. She was a member of Straight Creek Baptist Church for 89 years. She enjoyed gardening and continued to put out her garden at age 100. She was the daughter of the late John and Eliza (Neely) Edmondson She was preceded in death by her: Husband: Clay Janeway Son and daughter-in-law: Floyd and Polly Janeway Daughter: Florence Janeway Grandson: Jerry Dale Janeway Sister: Lillie Johnson Infant Brother: Joseph Janeway She is survived by her: Granddaughters: Sue Oaks and husband Wayne of New Tazewell, TN Kay McClanahan and husband T.J. of New Tazewell, TN Great Grandchildren: Misty Howell, Wendy Fultz, Elisha Roark, Brianna Janeway, Lindsay Beeler, Michelle York and Leslie Byrd Great-Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Clay, Dakodah, Adaley, Tyler, Haley, Hunter, Abby and Catie Granddaughter-in-law: Deloris "Lollie" Janeway Several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 5PM till 7PM at Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 1PM Sunday in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Poore and the Rev. Dallas Harrell officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Jimmy Poore, Wayne Yoakum, Trish Rouse, Kathy Wright and The Fords Chapel Singers. Burial will follow in the Burch Cemetery at Straight Creek.
