Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home 1106 Hwy. 33 South New Tazewell, TN 37825 (423) 626 - 2191 Fax (423) 626 - 8440 Ms. Cleta Brooks age 85 of Tazewell, TN was born May 13, 1929 and passed away March 8, 2015 at the Claiborne County Nursing Home. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Head of Barren Missionary Baptist Church. Cleta worked at the Claiborne County Nursing Home for 23 years then retired. Many of her hobbies included Gardening, planting flowers, attending yard sales, collecting dolls and collecting figurines. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Herman & Lee Addie Bolden 2 Infant Brothers Grandsons: Kenny Ray Ausmus and Scott Brooks Brother: William (Bill) and Pat Bolden She is survived by her: Sons: Tommy and Jane Brooks Danny Brooks and fiancée Kathy Bill R and Deborah Brooks Ronnie Brooks Daughter: Debbie Blackburn Brothers: Jimmy and Lois Bolden Lawrence and Darlie Bolden Ralph and Virginia Bolden Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. A special thanks to the Claiborne County Nursing Home doctors and nurses for their comforting care expecially during the last 3 days of her life. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5PM till 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conduct 2PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Day officiating. Music will be provided by David Painter. Burial will follow in the Shoemaker Cemetery.
