Mr. Clyde L. Sandefur age 93 of Harrogate, TN, of the Pump Springs Community, was born August 4, 1923 and passed away December 20, 2016 at the Claiborne Medical Center with his family by his side. He was a member and Deacon of Riverview Missionary Baptist Church where he formerly served as the song leader. Clyde's passion in life was farming, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his:
Parents: George and Nannie Sandefur
Wife: Louetta (Moore) Sandefur
Brothers: Ira Sandefur, Elmer Sandefur, Everett Sandefur and Herbert Sandefur
Sisters: Ethel Vancel, Rosy Cline, Winnie Owens, and Hassie Smith
He is survived by his:
Sons: Clyde Sandefur Jr. and wife Phyllis (Crockett) Sandefur
Johnny Sandefur and wife Jeanie (McAllister) Sandefur
Grandchildren: Eric Sandefur

The family will receive friends Friday, December 23, 2016 from 5PM until 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with
Brother Matthew Sandefur officiating. Brother Clyde Daniels, Brother Jerry Peck Jr. and Pastor James Shoffner. Music will be provided by Nikki & Ean Sandefur and Truly Blessed. Pianists Jennifer Yonts, Noah and Jenna.
Graveside services will be conducted 10AM Saturday, December 24, 2016 in the Riverview Cemetery with Brother Ray Gulley and Brother David Billingsley officiating.
