Daniel "Erric" Clevenger, age 49, was a loving father, spouse, son, brother, coworker, and friend. He was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed by many. Erric was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and resides in New Tazewell, Tennessee. Erric's lights in his life were his children, Kyler and Elie Piper Clevenger. His passion was the Tennessee Vols. Erric loved his work family at FMGI. Erric found salvation at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He had a love for God and ensured he spread his love of God through his actions daily.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Nancy Clevenger, and Carl and Callie Simpson Collins. Erric was survived by son Kyler and wife Kelsi Clevenger (age 23), Daughter Elie Piper Clevenger (age 5), stepdaughter Summer, and son-in-law Ben Higginbotham. Fiance Kimberly seals, Mother Kathy Collins, Father Danny Clevenger SR. and wife Carolyn, Brother Danny Clevenger JR. and wife Kim. Grandchildren Bentley and Bryston Higginbotham.
Erric's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by him understand that his existence and the imprint he left on our hearts exceeds the quantity of time that he stayed here. He was and always will be immensely treasured.
Celebration of life at Claiborne Overholt Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN, on March 12, 2022, from 1-3 PM. In honor of his love of the Vols and Erric's love of life, it is requested that guests wear Tennessee orange.
