Mr. Dillis Haggon Poore Mr. Dillis Haggon Poore age 73 of New Tazewell, TN was born April 4, 1940 and passed away August 10, 2013 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was saved at Clouds Church at a very young age and was later ordained as a deacon. He was a member of Head of Barren Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Alvis and Rosa Mae Poore Infant grandson: Jeremy Haggon Poore Lifelong friend: Dillard Robertson He is survived by his: Loving wife of 52 years: Geraldine (Whitaker) Poore Daughters: Dixie Escajeda and husband Jimmy Debbie Hammontree and Eddie Hunley Son: Audy Poore Grandsons: Tim Keck and Destiny Miller Matthew Edwards Sister: Cynthia Russell and husband Charles Brothers: Clay Poore and wife Wanda Floyd Poore and wife Louise Billy Poore and wife Barbara Rev. Jimmy Poore and wife Stella Mack Poore Several nieces, nephews, and a host of many other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2013 from 6PM until 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August, 13th at 10AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Day and the Rev. Willard Wilder officiating. Music will be provided by David and Juanita Honeycutt. Burial will follow in the Shoemaker Cemetery.
