He was a member of Straight Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Adult Sunday School Teacher for many years. Floyd also owned and operated Floyd's Small Engine Repair for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his: Wife: Pauline "Polly" Janeway Father: James Clay Janeway Son: Jerry Dale Janeway Sister: Florence Janeway Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law: Lawrence and Mossie Lee Bush He was survived by his: Mother: Chelsie Janeway of New Tazewell, TN Daughters: Sue Oaks and husband Wayne of New Tazewell, TN Kay McClanahan and husband T.J. of New Tazewell, TN Grandchildren: Misty Howell, Wendy Fultz, Elisha Roark, Brianna Janeway, Lindsey Beeler, Michelle York and Leslie Byrd Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Clay, Dakodah, Tyler, Haley, Hunter, Abby and Catie Sister-in-Law: Mertie Janeway of Knoxville, TN Daughter-in-Law: Delores "Lollie" Janeway of New Tazewell, TN Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 5PM till 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Poore, the Rev. Dallas Harrell and the Rev. Lonnie Dalton officiating. Music will be provided by Ford's Chapel Singers. Burial will follow in the Burch Cemetery at Straight Creek.
