George Hatmaker

Mr. George Hatmaker age 77 of Tazewell passed away April 3, 2018 at his home with his loving family around him. He was a member of  Lonesome Valley Baptist Church. He professed his faith in Christ in Bible School as a young child and was baptized in later years.

He was preceded in death by his:

Parents: Evelyn and Kermit Hatmaker Sr.

Sister: Betty Joe Hatmaker

Brother: Richard Hatmaker

Mother and Father-in-law: James and Lola Smith

Brother-in-law: Henry Smith

Son-in-law: Douglas Carmack

He is survived by his: His loving wife of 52 years: Shirley Hatmaker

Daughters: Theresa and husband Curt Fultz

Tamera Tucker

Grandchildren: Jason and Selena Carmack

Chris Hurst

Jeremy and Ronni Carmack

Joshua and Chelsea Carmack

Amy Tucker

Destiny Fultz

Great Grandchildren: Nathaniel, Cayden, Riley, Cloey, Anna, Maddison,

Carley Carmack and Weston Hurst

Step Grandchildren: Tammy, Glenda and Dale Fultz and several step great grandchildren

Brothers: Kermit JR. and the late Susie Hatmaker

Larry and Jennifer Hatmaker

Sister: Brenda and Randall Ferguson

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6 till 8 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 6, 2018 at 10AM  in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Fultz and Rev. Jason Carmack officiating. Music will be provided by Poplar Grove, Lonesome Valley, Freedom Baptist Church and Selena Carmack. Graveside service will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery.
