Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home 1106 Hwy. 33 South New Tazewell, TN 37825 (423) 626 - 2191 Fax (423) 626 - 8440 Mrs. Gladys Campbell age 90 of New Tazewell, TN was born October 21, 1924 and passed away February 20, 2015. She was a member of Straight Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell Worked at Oak Ridge in 1944 as a FBI Spy during WWII. She and Porter moved to Indianapolis, IN in 1952 and stayed for 27 years then returned back to their home. She was an avid gardener, fisher and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Charlie and Mertie Brown Daughter: Debbie Barlow Son-in-Law: Norman Lorman Brother: Paul "Coonie" Brown Sisters: Hazel Mullins and Bonnie Johnson She is survived by her: Loving husband of 71 years: Porter Campbell of New Tazewell, TN Daughters: Bonda Campbell Lorman of New Tazewell, TN Susie Campbell of New Tazewell, TN Pam Myers of New Tazewell, TN Brother: Claude Brown and wife Shirley of Indianapolis, IN Sister: Mae Duncan of Luttrell, TN Grandchildren: Garry O'Connor, Kelly Baker, Jennifer Davis, Carrie Cummings, Jessica Klapheke, Nick Myers and Travis Working 14 Great Grandchildren Step Son: Tim Lorman and wife Lisa of Denver, CO Son-in-Law: Ron Barlow of China Several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5PM till 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Cole and the Rev. Jimmy Poore officiating. Music will be provided by David & Stephanie Cole. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11AM in the Burch Cemetery at Straight Creek.
