He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was currently serving as a Councilman for the City of Tazewell. Harry had retired from the City of Tazewell Maintance Department. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Paul and Lynnie Estes Brother: Joe (Footloose) Estes and wife Betty Brother-in-Law: Clarence Arnwine Nephew: Rick Ice Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law: Arch Eldridge and Margineal Eldridge He is survived by his: Loving Wife of 46 years: Helen Jean (Eldridge) Estes of Tazewell, TN Son: Lance Estes and wife Tabitha of Knoxville, TN Daughter: Sandra Williams of Maynardville, TN Grandchildren: Amelia Clair Arturi, Gable Drew Williams and Nicholas Franklin Estes Sisters: Pauline Gibson and husband Bill of Tellico Plains, TN Hessie Arnwine of New Tazewell, TN Janet Stansberry and husband Gary of New Tazewell, TN Special Sister-in-Law: Dot Patterson of Tazewell, TN Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5PM till 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lance Estes officiating. Prayer by Rev. Sam Griffin, and Eulogy by Mayor Wayne Jessie. Music will be provided by Myrtle Meyers and Connie Bryant. Graveside Services will be conducted 11AM Thursday in the Irish Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Michael Jo Gray officiating. Pallbearers: David Bowen, Joe Wolfenbarger, Michael Jo Gray Gary Lynn Stansberry, Mark Patterson and Mark Lamb. Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Arnwine and Mayor Wayne Jessie Tazewell City Council and all city employees.
