Mrs. Hazel Crutchfield formally of New Tazewell passed peacefully on to the Lord Saturday, December 1, 2018. Originally from Claiborne County Hazel and her husband Joe Neal lived in Monroe MI until 1977 when they returned to TN upon retirement. Hazel was a member of the Monroe Chapter of Eastern Star. Hazel was also a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church.   She was  active at the local senior Citizens Center in Tazewell where she shared her many talents including teaching ceramics.   She was a member of the New Tazewell First Baptist Church.   Hazel remained active late into her life. She enjoyed bowling, traveling abroad with friends and competed in Senior Olympic events on a number of occasions. Her last several years were spent in Rotoda West, FL where she remained a kind and gracious soul through the very last day of a full life. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her:

First husband: Joe Neal

Second: Husband: Lewis Headrick

Son: Keith Neal and wife Linda

She is survived by her:

Daughter: Judy and husband Douglas Henegar

Grandchildren: Jeff, Scott and Brad Henegar, Angie (Crutchfield) and Cody.

Six Great Grandchildren

And a host of other loving friends and relatives

The Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 2 PM till 6 PM with funeral services to follow at 6 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Goodman officiating. Music will be provided by the First Baptist Church Ladies Ensemble.

Family and friends will meet Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10AM to go in procession to the Greer-Lambert Cemetery for graveside services.
