Mr. Herman Cupp age 83 of New Tazewell, TN was born March 11, 1934 in Claiborne County and passed away May 17, 2017 at the Claiborne Medical Center with his family by his side. He was a member of Church of Christ in Tazewell, TN. Herman was in the funeral business for 40 years. Bauum Carlock Funeral Home of Mineral Wells, TX, Killingsworth Funeral Home of Ranger, TX, Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home in Cookeville, TN. Owner of Madison Funeral Home of Madison, TN, Owner of Alexander Macon County Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN are just some of his honors. He was a Korean War Veteran as an 802nd Engineer Aviation Corporal in Battalion Company A, past President Rotary and Kiwanis, past President of the West Texas Funeral Directors Association and former Deacon in the Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 5PM - 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 10AM Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Callahan and Dr. Eddie Overholt officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3PM EST- 2PM CST in the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Cookeville, TN with Dr. Jann Cupp officiating.
