Mr. Hoy N. Edens Sr. Mr. Hoy N. Edens Sr. age 72 of Tazewell, TN was born September 8, 1940 and passed away March 23, 2013 at the Claiborne County Hospital. He was a member of Little Sycamore Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Clyde and Georgia Edens Daughter: Deirdre K. Masingo Sister: Nancy Moss He is survived by his: Wife of 52 years: Dorothy Hopkins Edens of Tazewell, TN Sons: Mark Edens and wife Charlene of Tazewell, TN Hoy N. Edens Jr. of Tazewell, TN Daughters: Debbie Clark of Sharps Chapel, TN Patricia L. Howard of Tazewell, TN Sisters: Wanda Cinnamon and husband Ray Sue Edens of Tazewell, TN Lois Brooks and husband Harmon of Bean Station, TN Betty Whitaker and husband Joe of Tazewell, TN Madge Lynch of Mulberry Gap Ruth Louthan and husband Tom of Tazewell, TN Phyllis Ramsey and husband Wright of Mulberry Gap Brother-in-law: James Hopkins and wife Sharon of Mulberry Gap Grandchildren: Rhiannan Clark, Jessie and Jake Masingo, Cody, Brody, and Kristopher Edens, Joshua, Stephanie, and Nicholas Edens, Devan Edens, and Kala Baker Great Grandchildren: Destiny and Jorden Baker Special friends: Jackie and Fern Goins Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 26th from 5PM until 7PM at the Claiborne Overholt Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Louthan Sr., the Rev. Larry Bull, and the Rev. Brody Edens officiating. Music will be provided by Tom Fritz and Larry Bull.
