J.T. Venable

Mr. James Tilman "J.T." Venable age 66 of Tazewell, TN was born January 12, 1951 and passed away September 15, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was a member of Little Sycamore Baptist Church. J.T. was a truck driver for 17 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Claude and Thelma Venable Sisters: Brenda Venable and Billie Loop Grandson: Dustin James Walker He is survived by his: Loving Wife of 48 years: Janet (Campbell) Venable Son: Jamie Venable Daughters: Cindy Nichols and husband Benny Kim Hensley and husband Richard Grandchildren: Ricky Hensley, Ryan Hensley, Randall Hensley, Robbie Walker, Alicia Nichols, Benjamin Nichols, Bridgette Nichols and Magen Bernier 1 Great Grandson: Baby Hensley Brother: Hollis Venable Several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10AM until 11AM with funeral services to follow at 11AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Redmond officiating. Music will be provided by David and Juanita Honeycutt. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery on Little Sycamore Road. Pallbearers: Grandsons, Eric Fraley and Jason Pabon In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.
