James “Warren” Campbell, age 67, of Tazewell, Tennessee, formerly of Middleboro, Kentucky, went to be home with the Lord on March 9, 2022 at his home while surrounded by family.
He was born in Bell County, Kentucky on January 16, 1955 to the late James and Lenora Campbell.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his brother, Don Campbell, his sister, Arietha Centers, and a grandson, Noah Paternoster.
Warren is survived by his wife of 19 years, Vicky Campbell, daughters Ann Messer and husband Zach, Cierra Miracle and husband Lonnie, and Angela Gilbert, Sons Michael Gilbert, Brian Drumm (Brittany), and Brayden Campbell, grandchildren Lane Messer and fiancé Jody, Riley Messer, Hunter Gilbert, Makayla Burns and husband Kyle, Kennedy Slusher, and Whitley and Emily Miracle, great-grandchildren Mason, River, and Lincoln Burns, brothers Jeff (Julia) Campbell, Clayton (Mary) Campbell, Harry (Rita) Campbell and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A retired Mining Electrician, Warren loved driving 18-wheelers, aircrafts, and classic cars. His favorite pastime was camping at the lake, fishing from his pontoon, and spending time with his dog, Max. He loved to tell stories and jokes and he had an infectious personality that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022 at Harrogate Cemetery with Rev. Preston Smith officiating. Family and friends can meet at Claiborne Overholt Funeral Home at 10:30 Friday to follow in the procession.
Pallbearers will be Zach Messer, Lane Messer, Michael Gilbert, Hunter Gilbert, Lonnie Miracle, Brian Drumm, and Brayden Campbell.
