Janice L. Shelton

Mrs. Janice L. Shelton age 68 of Thorn Hill, TN was born July 28, 1948 and passed away peacefully at her home on January 31, 2017. She professed her faith in Christ at a young age and was an active member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Coolidge and Hettie (Reed) Carpenter She is survived by her: Loving husband and best friend of 48 years: Leroy Shelton of Thorn Hill, TN Daughter: Rhonda Dalton and husband Steve of Thorn Hill, TN Sons: Jeff Shelton of Thorn Hill, TN Marty Shelton of Thorn Hill, TN Grandsons: Billy Leroy Waller of Bean Station Seth Dalton of Thorn Hill, TN A host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5PM until 8PM at Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 10AM Thursday in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Johnson and the Rev. Tony Dalton officiating. Music will be provided by The Reed Family. Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery in Thorn Hill. Pallbearers: Tim Reed, David Reed, Randy Reed, Terry Reed, Ralph Shelton and Ron Shelton.
