Mrs. ?Jean? Sandefur age 64 of Tazewell, TN formerly of Monroe, MI was born on September 5, 1947 passed away November 16, 2011. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Tazewell. She was the secretary, grant writer and fund raiser coordinator for the North Tazewell Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of the UAW Tri-State retirees and UAW of Knoxville Regional #8. She taught Sunday School for many years at Calvary Baptist Church and Raisinville Church in Monroe, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her: Father: Richard Morgan Sister: Carolyn Stoll She is survived by her: Mother: Kathy Morgan of Monroe, MI Husband: Austin Sandefur of Tazewell, TN Daughter: Janice O?Brien and husband Devin of Monroe, MI Sons: Robert Sandefur and wife Mary of Dundee, MI Mark Sandefur of Arlington, VA Grandchildren: Ellyn, Lydia, Meredith Sandefur Andrew O?Brien Brothers: Rick Morgan Ron Morgan and wife Tammy Sisters: Nancy Evans and husband Jack Marilyn Stephans and husband Steve Janice May and husband Jim Christina Stephans Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, November 18, 2011 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Claiborne ? Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm in the Claiborne ? Overholt Funeral Home Chapel Pastor Larry Sharp and Rev. Joe Lumpkin officiating. Music will be provided by Pat Tarter, Vivian Buford, Susan Sharp and Todd Spangler. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00am on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in the Cave Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations accepted for the North Tazewell Fire Department. Claiborne ?
