Lillian Allene Lakins age 61 of New Tazewell, TN was born October 6, 1950 and passed away November 14, 2011. She came to know Jesus at an early age and was a member of the Tazewell United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: Glenn and Orlena Shelton Lakins She is survived by her: Special friend and companion: Pearl Dean Combs of New Tazewell, TN Sons: Bill Davidson and wife Jennifer of New Tazewell, TN Bryan Ferguson and wife Lindsay of New Tazewell, TN Grandchildren: Andrew and Andrea Davidson of New Tazewell, TN Brylee and Avery Ferguson of New Tazewell, TN Jason and Samantha Hunter of New Tazewell, TN Allison and Vonnie Seals of New Tazewell, TN Brothers: Bill Lakins and wife Rebecca of New Tazewell, TN Johnny Lakins and wife Sherry of Sneedville, TN Soul sister: Rhonda Lakins of Speedwell, TN And a host of other relatives and friends. The family will received friends Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Claiborne ? Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in the Claiborne ? Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dustin Lakins and Rev. John Clark officiating. Music will be provided by David and Juanita Honeycutt. Burial will follow in the Barnard/Howerton Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bruce Myers, Brent Myers, Roger Vandergriff, Greg Combs, Harrison Cornett and Randy Summers Honorary Pallbearers: Vonnie Seals, Jason Hunter, Andrew Davidson, Charlie Massengill, Jeff Eversole, Charlie Combs and Chris Davidson.
