Mary June Campbell

Mary "June" Campbell age 92 of New Tazewell passed away October 9, 2017. She was a member of New Tazewell First Baptist Church. June was a graduate of LMU and a long time teacher at Claiborne County High School. She enjoyed attending high school reunions, walking and seeing old friends. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Darrell Campbell Son: Steve Campbell Sister: Jean Crabtree Brother: Ike Shelby She is survived by: Sons: Keith Campbell and wife Linda of Lafollette, TN Mike Campbell and wife Debbie of Lafollette, TN Granddaughters: Wendy Campbell of Louisville, KY Robin Overbay and husband Jimmy of Pensacola, FL And host of nieces, nephews, and host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2017 from from 5PM until 7PM with funeral services will follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Barnard officiating. Music will be provided by Donna Barnard. Graveside services will be conducted at 10AM Friday in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Maynardville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter. Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
