She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Megan was a member of the 2003 graduating class from Claiborne County High School. She was employed by England Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her: Grandfather: Evans Whitaker She is survived by her: Parents: Buck & Melissa Whitaker of Tazewell, TN Son: Kaleb Buck Daniel of Tazewell, TN Brother: Matthew Whitaker and wife Rachel of New Tazewell, TN Nephew and niece: Braeden and Lilly Whitaker Grandmother: Vivian Whitaker of Tazewell, TN Jennie Simpson and husband Ralph of Harlan, KY Grandfather: Robert Wayne Hooper of Maynardville, TN Great Grandmother: Frosteen Ray of Sharps Chapel, TN Special friends: Stephanie and Brian Nichols of Tazewell, TN A host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 6PM till 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Day and Brian Pendleton officiating. Music will be provided by Arbie & Nancy Fultz, Rose Johnson, Pat Short and Linda Brooks. Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
