Mrs. Myrtle Ruth Widner Noah age 77 of New Tazewell was born September 18, 1942 in Claiborne County and passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday March 17, 2020. She was a Christian and dedicated member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church of New Tazewell. She was preceded in death by her: Loving Husband of 32 years, Reverend Eugene Noah Parents - Edgar and Isabell (Poore) Widner Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law - Paul and Edna Noah Sister - Mary Lou Smith Brothers - Paul and Wade Widner Sisters-In-Law - Betty Widner and Nancy Brown Brothers-In-Law - J.T. Widner, Claude Smith, Bill Mason, Chester Noah, Curtis and Elizabeth Osborne Special Niece - Brenda Widner She is survived by: Son - Jeff Noah Granddaughter - Ashley Newman and husband Richard Grandson - Cody Noah and Sheena Smith Great Granddaughter - Madisyn Newman Great Grandchildren - Otis Noah and Teagan Thayer Sister - Mabel Widner Brothers - Parlon Widner and wife Audrey Bob Widner and wife Pat Charlie Widner and wife Mary Sisters-In-Law - Linda Mason, Cynthia and husband Kenny Williams, Juanita and husband Paul Griffin, Betty Jo Widner Essary Brothers-In-Law - John Brown Paul Noah Jr. and wife Sue Doug Noah and wife Louise Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of many relatives and friends The family will receive friends Wednesday March 18, 2020 from 5PM to 7PM at the Claiborne~Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday March 19, 2020 at 10AM in the Claiborne~Overholt Chapel with the Reverend Tommy Louthan and the Reverend Randy Beeler officiating. Music will be provided by Grace Baptist Church Singers. Burial will follow in the Widner Family Cemetery.
