Naomi Ray Overbay

Mrs. Naomi Ray Overbay age 84 of New Tazewell, TN was born December 17, 1937, to the late James and Deloria (Durham) Turner and passed away Sunday April 17, 2022 at the Claiborne County Nursing Home. Naomi was an Emergency Room nurse for over 30 Years at Monroe Mercy Hospital in Monroe, MI.  After her retirement Naomi never stopped her nursing compassion that she had for people.  Many times, she was in her community with her stethoscope taking blood pressures. She was a joy to be with and always had a very infectious smile.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Earl Overbay

Her son Allan Wayne Overbay

She is survived by her son Marshall Overbay and Marilyn Hines

Grandchildren: Bradley, Brian, Jennifer, Amanda, Justin, and Nicky.  Several great grandchildren and a host of many other relative and friends. 

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 22, 2022, in the Irish Memorial Gardens at 11AM with Eddie Overholt Officiating.
