Rev. Grover V. Cinniamon

Rev. Grover V. Cinniamon age 91 of New Tazewell was born October 9, 1928 and went home to be with the Lord February 5, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He had many passions in life which included bee keeping, hunting, fishing and farming. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Hairm and Della (Fields) Cinniamon Wife: Opal Cinniamon Daughter: Patsy Brewer Brothers: Ben, Hence “Cotton”, Bill and June Cinniamon Sisters: Hazel Williams, Lou Walker and Gleniva “Dude” Ramsey He is survived by his: Children: Eula Grey Russell and husband Stanley Frances Deaton and husband Jim James Cinniamon and wife Sharron Gail Chumley 12 Grandchildren 29 Great Grandchildren 3 Great-Great Grandchildren Special Grandson: Dakota Chumley Several nieces, nephews and a host many other loving friends and relatives The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5 PM till 7 PM with funeral services to follow at 7 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Reed and Rev. Frankie Bolden officiating. Music will be provided by The Reed Family. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11 AM in the Cinniamon Family Cemetery on Locust Grove Road in New Tazewell.
