Grimmett age 67 of Tazewell, TN was born December 22, 1947 and passed away at his home on December 24, 2014. He was a membr of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Roy was a Veteran of the US Army and enjoyed watching sports. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Morma Wade and Nina Mae Grimmett Son: Roy Grimmett Jr. Sister: Clara Mae May Brothers: Terry, Clayton and Jack Grimmett He is survived by his: Loving wife of 28 years: Elizabeth Grimmett Step Son: Michael Willis Brothers: Darrell Grimmett and wife Sue Orville Grimmett and Kathy Several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2014 from 11AM till 12 Noon with funeral services to follow at 12 Noon in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stewart Fultz and the Rev. Mika Long officiating. Music will be provided by Oak Grove Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, KY with Military Honors.
