Sandra Kay Goins Thompson

Sandra Kay Goins (Thompson) Age 65 of Richmond,KY passed away peacefully on January 16th 2022. She was born on November 7th 1956 to the late Clarence and Iva Jean Goins of Tazewell. Sandra Retired from the Claiborne County Board of Education and she taught at TNT Primary School where she taught Second and Fourth grade.

Grandson: Jackson Chandler Trent

She is survived by her

Son: Greg Trent of Richmond, KY

Granddaughters: Sara and Alyssa Trent of Knoxville

Brother: Jerry Goins (Pearl) of Oak Ridge

Sister: Sylvia Snodgrass of Tazewell

Aunt: Shirley Ann Snodgrass

Special Niece and Nephew: Chasity and Jeremy Goins of Tazewell

Nephews: Todd Goins of Tazewell, Jody Goins of Speedwell 

Nieces: Tahlena Snodgrass of Tazewell and Paula Goins of Tazewell

Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday January 21, 2022 at 11AM in the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Overholt Officiating. Music will be provided by Elizabeth Buis. Graveside will follow in the Goins Family Cemetery.
