Mr. Wade Edgar Widner age 70 of New Tazewell, TN was born June 10, 1945 and went Home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side. Wade was saved at an early age. On May 1, 1993 he was ordained as a Deacon at Sugar Grove Baptist Church. Wade was a loving and faithful member of Lone Holly Baptist Church. He worked hard at many jobs during his time which included working at Fisher Oil Company, farming, logging and maintenance, but his true passion in life was serving the Lord, loving and caring for his family.

Niece: Brenda (Widner) Dotson
Brothers-in-Law: Rev. Eugene Noah and J.T. Widner
He is survived by his:
Loving wife of 29 years: Betty Jo (Poore) Widner

The family will receive friends Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5PM until 7PM at Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Yeary and Rev. Tim Cosby officiating. Music will be provided by Living Waters.
Burial will follow in the Widner Family Cemetery
